I just bought a new Crestliner Commnader 1850, only had it out twice so far but all is good. Great performance with 150hp, I maxed out. looks like a very well put together boat inside and out, lots of options. only downside was that it came with a Mercury.

Crestliner ranks 25 of 221 in Water Transport category. The overall rating of the company is 2.6 and consumers are mostly neutral.

It’s stronger, and when done correctly by pros like the Crestliner welders, does not weaken the metal. It’s more attractive – who would want to look at a boat with all those ugly rivet heads? Over time, rivets get loose and leak. Hit a rock, and welded boat will just get a dent. The Lund might blow out a dozen rivets!

Crestliner 240 Rally DX Review. One of the best things about pontoon boats like the new Crestliner 24 Rally DX is that you can have a huge crew of friends and family aboard, and there’s a comfortable spot for everyone. Depending on which layout you choose with this boat you have room for up to 16—yes 16—people.

Crestliner’s PT 20 is a well made, well designed bass boat that will stand up to the bumps and grinds that go hand-in-hand with serious tournament fishing. For starters, the cockpit between the front and rear decks is often neglected as dead space in aluminum bass boats. But not so on the PT 20.

By 1964, Crestliner produced the first all-welded boat and saw an increase in sales with the lighter, durable construction of the aluminum boat. The all-welded Crestliner boats improved speed and strength while reduced the chance of needing to make on-water repairs.

In Aluminum I would go with the Crestliner, very good boats and reasonable, they will usually hold up better than most others. There are other brands you may want to consider as well, maybe no better structurally but maybe more friendly laid out.
